Hi, my name is Evan, I am 11 years old, and for the past 3 years I have been out in nature photographing wildlife with my camera. Photography gives so many things - fun, excitement, exhilaration, patience. Over the 3 years I have been doing photography, I have thoroughly enjoyed learning and spending time in the field with birds. As a result of that I have got all the great pictures I have today. I highly encourage you to get out there and take photos, no matter what gear you have. It's an amazing thing to do, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
I started my photography journey at the age of 8, my first camera was tiny canon ixus. my pictures at first were just a giant scene of landscape with a bird somewhere in a bush, it was more like playing spot the bird than looking at an image. Then I got an upgrade to a lumix, which had more zoom and enabled me to get better shots and enhance my photography skills. Fortunately I upgraded the nikon p950, it boasts an incredible 83x optical zoom, with this camera I improved my photography skills so much, but this camera lacked one thing image quality. now i use the canon eos 80d and the sigma 150 600, which was a huge step up as the lens is giant and very heavy and the settings on the camera are so much more complicated, one thing I have taken away from this journey that I am still going on, is to never give up.
